How We Work

OurProcess.

  1. 01

    Feasibility & Zoning

Before we draw anything, we check setbacks, lot coverage, and FAR with your municipality. You'll know early whether what you want is going to fly.

  2. 02

    Design & Permitting

We coordinate the architect and engineer (yours or ours), file permits, and walk you through the variance process if it's needed.

  3. 03

    Build

We tarp, brace, and protect the existing house through every phase. Tie-ins are done in dry weather and finished to match what's already there.

  4. 04

    Blend & Finish

The goal is for the addition to look like it was always part of the house. Trim, paint, and floors are matched on site, not just on paper.

Common Questions

Asked &Answered.

Will I have to move out during construction?
Usually not. Additions can almost always be built with the existing home occupied. We don't open the existing structure to the new space until the addition is dried in and weather-tight.
Can you match the existing siding, roof, and trim?
Yes — and we plan for it from day one. We source matching materials, blend transitions, and use period-appropriate trim profiles so the addition reads as part of the original house.
Do I need a variance?
Sometimes. If your addition pushes outside setback or coverage limits, we'll know before design is finalized and walk you through the local board process. Most go through; we're honest with you upfront if yours is a stretch.
